Engagement Photos

This Fall, after our August engagement, we scheduled photos at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol, RI. The sun was setting and we got there a little late but the pictures turned out beautifully! Since the barn itself is available for wedding receptions, it was actually in use that evening. We watched as a horse-drawn carriage brought the bride up to her party. Edison was with us and he was very interested in the Clydesdale. Our pictures were along the walking trails that go through the woods, along the water, and by a pond with swans in it.

 We also had a second shoot on Blackstone Blvd. here in Providence to make up for lost lighting. That day was a little warmer and the blvd offers many picture perfect scenes and props like benches, mature trees, boulders, and a hundred plus year old trolley stop across from Swan Point Cemetery.

Our pictures wouldn't have turned out nearly as well as they did without the talented photographer, Dominique Eppley of Eppley Photography. It was important to us to use someone local to RI to take pictures of us in a state that we have quickly fallen in love with.
