Fellini Pizzeria: Pawtuxet Village

I love Pawtuxet Village and hopefully I have made that clear in the past. It is the CUTEST little close-to-PVD-but-still-out-of-town experience. We go to Fellini's often when we want 1. pizza and 2. to get out of Providence. We both work in jobs that make Providence feel very small because we see people that we know when we go out. I'm a firm believer in work/life separation and I just can't handle seeing certain people on my personal time. Ya feel me?

The pizza is good at Fellini's. They know how to load up a pie with alllll the yum yums. They literally have a pie called "The Kitchen Sink." We've had almost all of their specialty pizzas by now because we order a big guy just for the two of us and then each choose what goes on our side of the pizza.

This week we went on Sunday night. Not a typical date night for us but it just happened to work out that way this week with our work schedules. I had a glass of chianti that may have been past its prime and T ordered a Revival and kicked the keg halfway through the pour. He settled for something a little less local. So the drinks were basic but whatever. There was a nice family sitting behind us (we sat at the bar) and a rowdy group of townies occupying the end seats to our left. They didn't kick a keg but they did polish off all of the Bud light in the place. Seriously, the bar tender ran out of Bud. Then they invited us to do shots with them. On a Sunday night. Don't bother me when I'm on a date with my husband. Just don't.

When a keg kicks.

The poor bar tender is a really nice guy who is always there when we go in but on this particular night he had the unfortunate task of explaining to a new patron what Switchback beer was like. He equated it to a...Bud light. It was all either of us could do to stay in our seats. COMMON BRO! Sacrilege.

Leftovers.

Scraps.

We left with a couple slices of leftovers as the Oscars were coming on the TV over the bar and the drunks down the end were taking selfies with their middle fingers waving in front of the camera.  Maybe next time we will order to-go.
