Shelter Arcade at Fete Music Hall

A night at Shelter Arcade Bar: Damn, girl. That section of town is not the nicest. I saw more garbage on the street where we parked than people...but that was probably a blessing. T and I agreed that if it was that bad inside we were outta there. Thank goodness it was great! We went Sunday night for our weekly date and will probably go back. It is right up T's alley. Here's why:

Food
Okay, don't go there for the food. I mean I barely glanced at a menu. Pretty sure it was hot dogs and slices of pizza.

Booze
Alright selection of beer and a full bar. Again, ya don't go there for the cocktails.

The Games
This is why you go. Vintage arcade games ranging for Miss Pac-man and Frogger to Pinball (free on Sundays) that you can play for a quarter! Don't have change? There's a coin machine! It felt very much like being a kid again. T liked that he got to play all of the violent arcade games his parents never would have gone for, and I liked just being in an adult bar where drinking was paired with Pac-man. It's just fun! An eclectic crowd of mostly 21-35 year olds trickled in throughout the evening. By the time we left a pinball tournament was starting and things were getting serious.
My speed.

Cuuuuute!

Tried it. Failed miserably.

Cup holders all over!

pew pew pew

Places everywhere to hold drinks next to games.
